The 34-year-old singer debuted the art on his Tumblr page a day after premiering the album’s first single, “Shadow Days.” “Every new record I start, a new aesthetic comes in. I can’t help it,” John said last month at a conference. “I think it’s gonna be more organic, more natural lyrics and chords and artful simplicity,” he teased at the time, adding that the album would have “organic cowboy guitar sounds.” John recently announced his spring tour, which will lead up to Born and Raised‘s May 22 release date.
