Russell Crowe may soon be boarding the Ark in the upcoming film Noah. The 47-year-old actor is in talks to play the title character in Darren Aronofsky‘s Biblical film, which could begin filming this July. “In Aronofsky’s take on the classic tale, Noah is a man who loves Earth and all of its animal inhabitants, but has become disillusioned with the way humans have treated their planet,” Variety‘s Showblitz reports. Russell is currently working on the big screen adaptation of Les Miserables and can also next be seen in the Superman action flick Man of Steel.
