Salma Hayek is stylish as can be at the closing awards ceremony of the 38th Deauville American Film Festival on Saturday (September 8) in Deauville, France. The 46-year-old actress was joined on the red carpet by her husband Francois-Henri Pinault and their daughter, Valentina. “I’m grateful to everyone who gave me an opportunity but strangely there hasn’t been that many. I’ve had to fight very, very hard for every silly small role,” Salma told THR at the festival. “When I started, everyone said there was no chance for a Mexican actress with an accent to have a career. Maybe a maid in a small part…maybe the wife of a drug dealer with one line or just crying,” she added.
