Meryl Streep beams on stage at the 2012 Oscars held at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood. The 62-year-old star won the award for Best Leading Actress for her work in The Iron Lady. “Thank you so much. Thank you, thank you!” Meryl said when she got on stage. “I really want to thank all my colleagues, all my friends. I see my life before my eyes, my old friends, my new friends,” Meryl emotionally said at the end of her speech. “The thing that counts the most for me is the friendships and the love…my friends, thank you all of you. For this inexplicably wonderful career. Thank you.”
