Max Thieriot Cast in Roland Emmerich Directed Pilot!

Max Thieriot has been cast in the lead role of a new untitled pilot for ABC to be directed by Roland Emmerich. The 23-year-old actor will play an astrophysics grad student in NYC who learns that he is the chosen one to destroy the forces of evil, according to Deadline. “Well guess cats outa the bag… I will b doing an #ABC show (pilot) directed by Roland Emmerich. Gonna b a change but I’m excited!” Max tweeted. In addition to directing the pilot, Roland (The Day After Tomorrow, 2012) will write the script.
